BJU’s School for Continuing, Online and Professional Education (SCOPE) is excited to announce our new BJU Doctorate in Professional Leadership degree.

BJU’s Executive Doctorate in Professional Leadership emphasizes professional practice and research that will equip you to be the kind of leader today’s organizations need for higher levels of effectiveness.

The program is designed for individuals who have earned  a master’s degrees in a field and have at least five years of leadership experience in an organization.

Program Facilitators

SCOPE has assembled a team of world-class business and leadership facilitators that collectively offer a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines. Unlike mainstream options, SCOPE’s facilitators bring a different worldview than most leadership programs, one that sees the world through the lens of the Scriptures, while making direct, practical application to the workplace realities that leaders face today.

Curriculum & Courses

The Executive Doctorate in Professional Leadership prepares working professionals to lead organizations and people to higher levels of performance and effectiveness by applying learning to life, solving authentic real-world problems, and growing personally and professionally.

Holistic Learning

We believe that leaders are most effective when they are well-rounded in their knowledge and skillsets, and we’ve developed a curriculum to position graduates for success. The program requires 60 credits comprised of 13-four credit courses and eight credits of dissertation research. Courses meet in a combination of formats including face-to-face, online, and hybrid. 

Supportive Cohorts

Those accepted into the program will be assigned to a cohort of like-minded individuals to grow together through courses situated in biblical worldview, team projects, professional networking opportunities, and a dissertation project tailored to their interests.
